The O'Jays with special guest The Manhattans featuring Gerald Alston and Blue Lovett

Vintage 1970’s soul comes to Prudential Hall with The O’Jays. Known for decades for their smooth, rich harmonies, The O’Jays have produced a string of classic pop and R&B hits, including “Back Stabbers,” “Love Train,” “I Love Music,” “Used to be My Girl," and “For the Love of Money.” They’ve been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Vocal Group Hall of Fame – now they come to NJPAC for one night only. As special guest, The O’Jays welcome The Manhattans, featuring Gerald Alston and Blue Lovett, a group with four decades worth of hits including and 1980’s Grammy-winning "One Life to Live," "There's No Me Without You,” "Kiss And Say Goodbye," and 1980’s Grammy-winning classic, "Shining Star."

Prior to tonight’s performance, ticket-holders are invited to join us for a free Prelude in the Prudential Hall lobby, featuring The Silver Stars, a popular, Newark-born oldies and doo-wop group.
