The O'Jays Website:Walter Williams Sr. (born. August 25, 1943), is an American singer, and is the baritone/bass multi-range vocalist of the R&B /pop/vocal group, The O'Jays. born in Canton, Ohio.

I began my musical career at McKinley High School in Canton, OH where in 1958, I teamed up with my friend Eddie Levert and began singing gospel on a Canton Ohio radio station. We were joined by three high school buddies, William Powell, Bobby Massey and Bill Isles and formed the group the "Triumphs", which was renamed "The Mascots" and then finally "The O'Jays", in tribute to radio disc jockey Eddie O'Jay. Although The O’Jays have changed members throughout the years, me and Eddie have remained constant with my smooth vocals while Eddie provides the harsher deeper toned lead. In 2003, while appearing in the movie "The Fighting Temptations", I teamed up with Beyonce Knowles, recording the duet "He Still Loves Me" as part of the movie’s soundtrack.

I currently live in Cleveland, OH and while concerts and studio work keep me very busy, one of my passions is golfing in the spare time. Among my many awards and recognitions, I was inducted into The Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2004, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2005 and most recently awarded The BET Lifetime Achievement Award. Throughout the years, I always wanted to do a solo cd, considering different pieces, trying to find the perfect blend of classics that would be the right fit for my  voice. It took some years, but the day has arrived and my cd is complete."I think I’ve found what I consider to be a great collection of classics.

"Exposed" is my first solo cd.‘It’s Raining Outside’ (written by myself.‘ The song "My Way" me and my longtime friend and partner Eddie Levert Sr. put the icing on the cake,"The O’Jays will continue to be my priority and we will perform for as long as possible with God blessings. My wish is that my new music cd will bring listening pleasure to my loyal fans and friends and to music lovers of all genres for my rendition of these timeless classics
